In the church (Experience teams)
Jesus came not to be served, but to serve others. Our volunteer teams offer an opportunity to serve others by using the unique gifts and talents God has placed in you.
Whether you love to smile and welcome others, teach young children, or sing in the choir, we would love for you to join one of our teams! We believe in the potential of each person and empower volunteers to use their talents to the fullest. Serving is also how we build relationships with others and participate in advancing God's kingdom.
Setup Team
It would be impossible for our other teams to operate without this team! Because we are a mobile church, our equipment must be set up and torn down each week. This team makes church happen.
Hospitality Team
This team consists of parking attendants, greeters, ushers and hosts. Their goal is to give direction and provide a welcoming atmosphere to all Relevant guests. Team members are full of life and joy, and serve with a huge smile on their faces!
Worship Arts
This team serves in both technical and creative capacities. Their goal is to help make every weekend a unique worship experience. They are lighting crews, sound technicians, media producers, presentation software operators, musicians and singers.
Relevant Kids Team
This team serves our children and infants. They provide our kids with the most exciting, God-inspired 70 minutes of their week! Involvement on this team includes child registration; nursery, preschool and K-5th grade teachers and leaders. NOTE: All Relevant Kids team members are required to submit to background checks.
In the community (Charlotte and surrounding area)
Small Group Leaders
Small groups are the backbone of a healthy community. Relevant small groups consist of people who enjoy being around other people! Small group leaders help shepherd these groups as the front line of Relevant ministry.
Outreach Teams
Relevant Church is dedicated to its community. Our outreach teams bring creative, new ideas and activities to their community and are dedicated to seeing those ideas and activities put into practice.
